This website recounts the story of Francis Xavier Morrissey Jr. “FXM," a Boston Irish kid who beat dyslexia to succeed at Harvard and later went on to accomplish great feats. 

Through his father’s service to the future President, Francis had an intimate exposure to the Kennedy family. He encountered prime ministers and generals in Pakistan and India, where, fueled by empathy for the desperately poor, he used his legal skills to serve others. Francis also represented key people throughout the world, and while praised by many, critics lambasted him, accusing him in the notorious Brooke Astor case. He served a 15-month, life-threatening sentence, maintaining his innocence throughout. Francis is now a free man and remains determined to help the suffering and dispossessed.
 
Thanks to his charm and an Irishman’s gift of gab and empathy, Francis has interacted with a raft of some of the most famous and influential figures of the 20th Century. As an admiralty attorney, estate planner, and a CIA consultant, Francis represented widely different clients. Some of them include a former American Communist Party co-founder, a Spanish oil supertanker baron, a legendary American farm machinery magnate, a famous coal mining family, as well as cab drivers, waiters, and poor immigrants who Francis helped free-of-charge. 
 
Over the years, while many grateful friends, clients, and cultural institutions helped advocate for and embolden Francis's reputation, he suffered greatly by the resulting media barrage in the Astor case, which has overshadowed his good works.
